Gerard
Dybel PT, ScD, GCS
Gerry joined the Wellesley Therapeutics Acton office in April 2009.
He graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the U.S.
Army-Baylor University physical therapy program in 1986 and was
awarded a Science Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts
Lowell in ergonomics in 2000. Gerry has practiced primarily in orthopedic
settings. As a trained ergonomist, he is skilled in the evaluation
and treatment of work related musculoskeletal complaints. In 2005,
Gerry achieved the designation of Geriatric Clinical Specialist
from the American Physical Therapy Association. His expertise in
geriatrics and orthopedics combine to make him uniquely qualified
to serve this population.
In addition
to his clinical work at Wellesley Therapeutics, Gerry is an associate
professor of physical therapy at the University of Massachusetts
Lowell. He is dedicated to providing his clients individualized
treatment programs founded on the best available evidence.
In his leisure
time, Gerry is an avid sports enthusiast, photographer and videographer.
