Donna
received a BS in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University, Boston-Bouv
College in 1978 and her DPT from Mass General Hospital in 2008.
Donna is one of about one hundred health care practioners in the
United States to hold a diploma from the McKenzie Institute International.
Presently she is working on her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at
Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals.
Galotta is presently the Vice Chair of the American Physical Therapy
Association shoulder special interest group. She is also a Massachusetts
Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician and has volunteered her
time in two towns. Donna has a wide variety of experience in various
specialties over her 29 years of practice. Initially her specialties
were in geriatric and pediatric neurology in the homecare and rehabilitation
settings. Presently with her recent education she specializes in
the spine and vestibular rehabilitation in the outpatient setting.
She also has experience in aquatic rehabilitation, hospice, inpatient,
nursing homes, therapeutic horseback riding and wound healing.
For fun, Donna
and her husband are competitive swing dancers.
