Rebecca Wheatland, MSPT
Rebecca Wheatland achieved her BA in Biology from Brown University and then later received her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. She has been practicing for 10 years as an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist in the Greater Boston area. She has very strong clinical skills at evaluating and diagnosing Musculoskeletal/Orthopedic problems. Becky's treatments consist of a combination of Therapeutic Exercise and manual techniques. She can provide a personalized gym/sports program as well as aqua therapy for our clients. Becky specializes in treating general orthopedic issues involving the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, foot, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, and cervical spine. This includes pre and post surgical rehabilitation, sports therapy, Osteoporosis education, fall prevention program for the elderly with balance impairments, and body mechanics training. Becky is also an avid sailor, racing year round in Boston harbor. When not on a boat, she also enjoys swimming, hiking, skiing, reading, and travel.
